Hello 3rd trimester...so nice to meet you!!!

28 weeks today! I've had 2 appts with the specialist since my last post and 1 appt with my dr (today). At the specialist appt he noted my amniotic fluid being low. Average is 14 cm and mine measured 8.5 on Friday and 7.65 yesterday. The specialist wants to see me on mon and we'll look again. He also noted their being fluid in his kidneys. Under 5 mm is considered normal in boys and mine were measuring 6 mm. It may be no problem at all or there could be a blockage in his urethra that he may have to have a small procedure once he is born. At any rate I'm glad they are keeping an eye on it. It appeared that Romans growth had slowed down last week. He only gained 2 ounces within 1 week. Both dr's didn't seemed too concerned because babies grow at different rates but I was. At todays appt with my dr. Roman measured 2 lbs 10 ounces!!!!! That's 8 ounces in 1 week!! He is now back at the 50th percentile. My next appt is on Monday and we'll go from there.
