Just got a call from the embryologist and she gave me the following information. Out of the 10 embryo's, 6 of them are looking good (have the amount of cells that they like to see on Day 3). The other 4: 3 of them have 10 cells, and the other one has 12 cells. On day 3 they like to see anywhere from 6-9 cells. The 6 good ones have 8 cells. She said this is good, and she is hoping I may have 1 or 2 blastocysts (the best grade) to transfer by day 5 and she hopes I will have a couple or some to freeze. On the day of the transfer I will know the grade of the embryos they will transfer (could be 4AA blastocyst, 4AA, 4AB, 4BB, 4BC, 4CC...the number 4 could be any number between 1-5. 4 or 5 is ideal. In 2 days a lot can change. She even said that the 4 that have more cells than normal still may turn out ok. These numbers are just the doctors way of grading the embryo's and they base that grade on the likelihood of a successful pregnancy. Its not scratched in stone though. I have talked to a lot of women who get pregnant with grades B's and C's...so once again, God has the ultimate control. I asked her if we were doing a 3 day transfer and all we had were the 4 embryos would they still transfer them, and she said yes. I hadn't done much research on this before, so alot of this didn't make sense at first. After doing more research, I feel good about the report, and just have to continue to pray they they keep growing!! She said some may stop growing or grow poorly. My 5 day transfer is set for Tuesday at 3:00! I have acupuncture before the transfer, and after the transfer then bed rest for 3 days. I can't have caffeine, no intercourse, I can't lift anything more than 5 lbs until my blood test which should be Friday March 11th.
I just pray to continue feeling God's hand guiding me through each step and day. Thank you for your prayers!!!

Would you like to know the Report?!?
Yesterday I was so groggy from being put under and veryyyyyyyy sore and crampy from the surgery/retrieval. I went in yesterday and we did the long drive to the doctors office. I was really at peace with everything yesterday. My little sister Haley called us on the way and asked to be put on speaker phone, and she said the sweetest prayer for us. That started the tears for me...but they were happy tears. We checked in and waited for the anesthesiologist to come in. As they were giving my my "margarita medicine" they told me to just focus on the ceiling. On the ceiling there was a poster of a woman breastfeeding her baby. Talk about positive thinking as your going under! I woke up and the first thing I asked "how many eggs did you get?" They said they got 15. I asked well what about the other 9? (Dr. Le counted 24 follicles on Monday) They explained that just because you see a follicle it doesn't mean that there is an egg in each one. They said they would not know how many were mature and how many fertilized til tommorow (Friday). We chose to not do ICSI (where they place the sperm in the egg). We chose to let them fertilize naturally (put the sperm and the eggs in a tray and let them party down)!
I came home and slept and rested. They said I could take Tynelol from the pain, but I didn't want to take anything because of the upcoming transfer on Tuesday. So I pushed through it! I had a vivid dream last night that zero of them fertilized. It was a horrible dream. I knew I would hear from them around 11:00 today so from the time I woke up and 11:00 was the longest few hours ever! I flipped through my calendar to Tuesday March 2nd (the day of the transfer) that has scriptures for each day and it read: Matthew 6:33-But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. This is the scripture that my sister Whitney put in her prayer, and the scripture that her mother in law told me to focus on, and the scripture that was in the book my friend gave me on the 1st day that I read it (Monday, Feb 22nd-"All things added to you".) When the phone rang at 11:09 a.m. before answering I said this scripture to myself.
The nurse said that out of the 15 eggs that were retrieved...all 15 were mature...and 10 of them fertilized!!!!!!! She said that is a great number, so we will for sure shoot for a 5 day transfer for Tuesday March 2nd. She'll call me on Sunday and let me know how they are doing! Please pray for our 10 little babies, and pray that they will continue to grow! I wonder how many of the 10 are boys and how many are girls?!? Fun to think about! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! GOD IS HEARING THEM!!!!

Trigger Time!
I had my appt with Dr. Le this morning and it looks like its time to trigger tonight! My follicles are doing great. I have about 24. He thinks I'll have about 15 that are mature. My lining is only at a 7. I hoped it would grow more. I really wanted it at an 8....but I keep telling myself to not worry, this is all in God's hands and He is in control...not me. He says he wants me to go ahead and go foward. My retrieval is at 9:30 this Thursday. Transfer should be on Tuesday March 2nd.
I told him we prayed for him last Sunday night, and he "thank you very much". He told me that before he did my two surgeries last year, he prayed that God would use his hands to do a good job. I thought that was so sweet! He always tells me..."we can only do so much...God has the power, and a miracle baby takes divine intervention". I'm so blessed to have a doctor who shares the same beliefs as me.
Wanted to share 3 really cool things that I read today that have once again restored my faith and hope, and that I feel God is telling me:
1) I have a daily calendar that you rip off a page each day and it tells of someone's story of angels on earth. People from all across the world share their stories/encounters/experiences. Todays story for Feb 23rd is titled Strength of the heart by Jessica strength from Arlington, Tx. She writes...My third pregnancy came after two miscarriages. My husband and I were afraid to hope-we didn't know if we could handle more disappointment. We had been collecting teddy bears to distribute to sick, abused, and orphaned kids as a way of actively fighting our grief. To each of the stuffed toys, we attached a card that read: "Strength Bear: May you have the strength to bear what is ahead." I wondered how I could endure more heartbrak. Then one day I looked at the Strengh Bears waiting to be handed out and remebmered a verse from Psalms, "God is the strength of my heart." I relied on the dwindling group of bears to give me hope. By the time we gave away the last bear, I had another reminder that god never gives us more than we can handle. My husband and I had a healthy baby girl.
That spoke to me and gave me chills! Here we are...taking this huge leap of faith after suffering two miscarriages...
2) A friend of a friend named Josh came over on Sunday night to pray for us and also gave me a daily devotional book that each day of the calendar year has daily reflection passage along with a scripture. Yesturdays message was titled "Having All Things Added to You"-But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things ashall be added to you"-Matthew 6:33. I skipped ahead to see what is would say on the day of my retrieval this Thursday Feb. 25th and it reads "Is Anything too hard for God"-Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, Is there anything too hard for Me?"-Jeremiah 32:27.
Thats all I needed to hear! If God says nothing is too hard for Him...it is so!

Amazing Night
Last night, a group of about 25 of our close friends and family got together at our house to pray for Dustin and I for this upcoming week. Words can't describe how awesome this was! You could feel the presence of God and the Holy Spirit in the room. Tranquility was the word my Dad used. I have never felt so moved or loved! It was very emotional for everyone, but was so peaceful. They prayed about the 2 babies we have lost, and that even though we haven't met them on this earth, we will meet them one day. My pastor came and that meant alot to us as well. I wish I could share the words of prayer that came from each individual heart. My family, Dustins family, and my friends were all there. People always tell us they pray for us, but to have everyone in 1 room with their hands on us praying was truly incredible. I went to sleep with a smile on my face, and I will remember that night forever. I have full faith that God will bless me with a child and I will be a mother. I truly can say, I am fully at peace with God's Will and His Plan. Below is the prayer from my sister Whitney. Thank you again for everyone who came and everyone who prayed from home! Thank you God in advance for the blessings that are to come!
Difference Between John 14:14 and John 16:23When praying according to John 14:14, you are asking Jesus, in the Name of Jesus Christ, to do something for you; as an example: to forgive your sins; to forgive sins of a loved one; to destroy curses; to destroy evil strongholds; to protect your child, etc. When praying according to John 16:23, you are asking your Heavenly Father to give you something in Jesus Christ's Name; for example: to give you total deliverance; to give to total peace; to give your child salvation; to give you financial freedom, etc.You are either asking Jesus to do something for you, or asking God to give you something; the importance is to pray to God; mirroring the scripture that applies to what you are asking;stating to God that Your Word says this... John 14:14 – do or John 16:23 (In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name... Ask and you will recieve, and your joy will be complete) give ...*********************************************************************************************************Heavenly Father, Dustin & Kacey are surrounded tonight with a special group of friends and family that You have specifically placed in their life.I know you brought each one of us here, by the stirring in our souls as we have prayed for them. But now, we come to You in ONE ACCORD, in the Name of Christ Jesus according to Matthew 18:19 (Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven)and We are standing on Your Word to give unto Dustin & Kacey ... a child. In You, we will praise Your Word and put our trust! (Psalms 16:1) Most of us here have a loved one that is hurting or who is sick. I especially want to mention Kacey & Dustin's sweet friend, Tracy who has a battle of her own going on and the recent news of Dustin's Grandad. We lift up these battles to You tonight as well. Thank you for leading Kacey & Dustin to a Doctor who loves You and has acknowledged that he also believes that Your Will is what ultimately will unfold. Dr Le cares for Kacey and You have guided him to already be succesful with her, in this process. He has shown such patience and love for the position that he is in. We pray for Dr Le and the nurses who are involved in this transfer. May Your hands, be their hands this week. I ask You now, in the name of Jesus Christ to release Your healing virtue, Your miracle virtue into Kacey's body. Release Your healing anointing, Your miracle anointing from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. We ask You to completely restore Kacey's uterus and every inch of the lining to be thickened and ready to help a baby, a true miracle grow in her womb. Father God make her whole! Restore every organ, every cell, every gland, every muscle, every ligament, every bone in her body and bring everything in total alignment, complete alignment, the way you created her, in the Name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are our Healer, Jehovah Rophe, (Exodus 15:26) and You are our Provider; Jehovah Jireh. We declare that You are our health, healing, and soundness in and over us. We have the healing of God, for by Your stripes, we were healed according to 1 Peter 2:24. Father, Dustin & Kacey are on their knees, begging you to USE them, USE their bodies as vessels for one of your miracles to take place. A child is such a blessing, such a gift. Lord, Your goodness and Your mercy shall follow us everyday of our lives according to Psalms 23:6. Father this is Your story, our lives tell Your story ....and Your hand, in THIS request, would speak of such Mercy to so many that know their struggle. Father God, we cry with them: Turn their mourning into Dancing (Psalms 30:11) They have put their faith in You and now we wait....Heavenly Father, we wait upon You, we ask that You will renew our strength, and that we shall mount up with wings like eagles, help us to run and not be weary, to walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)May we take off all dependency of the flesh and dependency on anything in this world. We trust and depend completely on Jesus! Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayers, You are a faithful God and we KNOW you hear the cries of our hearts. Father God may this miracle/Your miracle, bring Glory to Your name.I ask You to put a hedge of protection around Kacey & Dustin this week. Protect their hearts and their anxieties. Cover them with your feathers, hide them under your wings. May your faithfulness be their shield. (Psalms 91:4)We know that all things work together for good because we love You and we were called according to Your purpose according to Romans 8:28. Father, thank You for sending Your son, Jesus to earth, for the gift of his life on the cross for the forgiveness of all sin. Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit and I ask You to fill us now with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Holy Name we pray. Amen

My Bucket List Story
Dustin and I have been watching that show "The Buried Life" on MTV every week. Its a reality show where a few guys travel across the US completing things that are on their "Bucket List"-things they want to do before they die. As they complete things on their list, they also ask strangers what is something they would like to do before they die, and they help the stranger fulfill that dream. The show inspired us to start thinking about making our own list of things we wanted to do in this lifetime, people we'd like to see in concert, places we want to visit, etc. For instance, I'd like to learn to play guitar. We figured without making an actual list and writing things down, we would just go through life and say later "I always wanted to do that..."
On Monday night we paused the remote when it briefly showed their list of things...and one of their things was to pay for a stranger's groceries. We both thought...let's put that on our list. We thought that would be really cool to do one day.
Tuesday I was doing my "big" grocery trip to Kroger (I try to hold off going as long as I can, so when I finally go I'm there for like 1.5 hours. The thought did come up in my mind about that show, but I wasn't planning on doing it that day. I continued shopping, and I noticed that every Isle I went down, there was the same man with his 2 or 3 year old daughter(when this happens I always feel like and hope that person doesn't think I'm following them). You could tell he was doing a "big" grocery trip as well, and he had a list and all. At one point my cart was in the way and I didn't realize an elderly lady was trying to pass, and he moved it so she could get by. I thought "that was nice", but didn't think much about any of this...I'm just remembering back to all this now. Towards the end of my shopping, I didn't see him for a while. I was ready to check out, but I still needed to pick up my cake from the bakery so I put my full cart in check out lane hoping it would hold my spot while I quickly went to pick up the cake. When I came back someone had moved my cart out of the way so they could get in line. Well I didn't want to get back in that line so I went to the check out lane to the left. I was able to walk straight up...the person before me was getting ready to pay. That person was the same man and his daughter. I hear the cashier say "I'm sorry sir...need a person over to aisle 13, and they starting taking his bags out of his cart". I immediatly thought, this guy's card didn't go through! I was like "no way...is this really happening?!" The cashier starting taking his bags out of his cart to put back up. I hear the man with the daughter simply say "I'm really sorry"-not "well try this card, or I'll be back, or are you kidding me...
A rush came over me, and I couldn't believe this was happening like this! I truly believe this was no coincidence. My meds are making me a little dizzy, so the thought of "I don't want to say anything right now, and have all eyes on me etc" came through my head. Then I felt nudged to speak up. The Holy Spirit came over me, and I said quietly to the cashier "tell that man I want to buy his groceries." They told him, and he didn't know what to say or do. I knew he was probably embarrased so I said..."Oddly enough, me and my husband were talking about wanting to do this for somebody last night...so I believe I'm supposed to pay for your groceries, and I think you got in the right lane!" He didn't know what do or say, so I just swiped my card (the amount was $111.13 and the scripture on my calendar for that day Feb 16th reads Hebrews 11:11-By faith Abraham even though he was past age-and Sarah herself ws barren-was enabled to become a father because he considered himself faithful who had made the promise!!!!) and started putting my groceries on the belt. I looked up and his eyes were huge, and he mouthed slowly "thank you so much". After he left the cashier said that his card was declined and read insufficient funds. He had been at the store for atleast an hour and at one point I even saw him looking at spices, so I know how bummed he must have been to not be able to buy the groceries. The cashiers were like "we've never seen that before...I want to do that for somebody...that was awesome!" Talk about pay it foward!
When I told Dustin about what happened he said "before you tell me what happened, I want you to know that I was thinking about how we would pay for someone's groceries while I was at work today. Pretty Cool!
God puts people in your life at the right place and the right time! All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose-Romans 8:28. It was amazing to witness all three: God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit working together as ONE to bring about the glory of God into the physical realm. I wanted to share this, b/c I wanted to encourage everyone that simple acts of kindness can have huge impacts on people for the rest of their life.
I had my sonogram today and bloodwork, and it looks like I have 15 follicles all about the same size. He said that's great. He said my lining was ok, but I would like it to be a little thicker, so please pray for that! He'll check me again on Sat, and then on Mon, and we should be having the retrieval Wed or Thurs of next week! I'll be posting updates on the History part on the left every day.

Injection Training One on One
Yes, these are all my meds. Now you can see why "Crazy Kacey" shows her face at times!
Friday night was the 1st night that I had to do an injection outside of our house. We were at my mom and dads for dinner, so the whole family got to watch it. They all knew of my needle phobia, so they were very proud to see how far I've come!
Friday night was the 1st night that I had to do an injection outside of our house. We were at my mom and dads for dinner, so the whole family got to watch it. They all knew of my needle phobia, so they were very proud to see how far I've come!My niece and nephew watched too. After seeing the injection, Aydia wanted to give me another shot with her play shot! There's a short clip at the bottom of Dustin giving me the actual injection. Not too bad!
So far so good! My E2 level came back good, and the ultasound looked good, so I got the ok to start stim meds. I start the 1st night of stim meds tonight (Sat Feb 13th). I'll take these anywhere from 7 to 11 days. During these 7 to 11 days I'll also have bloodwork and sonograms every other day, and two sessions of acupuncture. Then its retrieval time! After retreival, they will fertilize my eggs and a few days later, hopefully place 2 embryo's in my uterus. Then its about a 10 day waiting game! From this point, we still have a few more hurdles to jump in order for this ivf cycle to not be cancelled...my body needs to respond well to the meds...my follicles need to mature...numerous follicles need to mature-hopefully 10 or more...I can't overhyperstimulate...I can't ovulate before they retrieve them...they need to be retrieved...they need to fertilize...they need to be good graded embryos...then they need to make it to transfer...then my lining needs to be thick enough for them (hopefully 8mm or thicker)...then they need to implant! Whoo-that's alot! Please pray for these steps! You can see a detailed day by day timeline of this ivf cycle on the left under history. It's all happening so fast!
Build a Bear
I took my niece and nephew to "Build a Bear" last week and they loved it! You first pick out an unstuffed animal, then you get to stuff it, pick out a heart to put in it, record something that will go inside of it, and then pick out clothes for it. After you make your animal, you feel out a birth certificate and then its all yours! It was so cute and fun!

Snowall Record Breaking in Texas!
Tito, Prada and Kobi were loving the snow!! They would step out of their 74 degree shed a few times a day to play in the snow :)

Crazy Kacey!
Ok, my hormones have officially gone "off the board". Man, its like I'll be really "up" and then really "down". I can cry at the drop of anything, and I can't control it! I haven't even started the stims yet...this is just from the Lupron. I just have to keep telling myself...its the drugs, not me :) Not too much longer! Friends and family, please bear with me through these next few weeks!

Fun day at Chuckie Cheese!
It was my sweet little niece Emerson's 4 year old birthday, so I took her, Elijah, and Aydia to Chuckie Cheese's to have a Wednesday afternoon celebration! There was no one there but us, so we had a great time! There are a few video clips at the bottom. (Be sure and press stop on the music at the bottom of my blog so you can hear their cute little voices)

Update on IVF
Well, I'm on day 9 of my IVF calendar. This morning, both Dustin and I had to get blood work done. After we gave blood we had to stop and get a cashiers check for $4300.00 (not fun) to pay the clinic what we owe so far. Dr. L did a mock transfer today. Basically this measures exactly where my uterus is so he'll know where to place the embryos the day of the actual transfer. Everything went well! Dr. L really feels good about this and thinks I have a really good chance. He said they they just finished their 1st group (group of 6 girls that did IVF) and all 6 girls got pregnant!
Last night Dustin gave me my 1st injection of Lupron. It stung a little, but not to bad. I can't believe how fast this is all happening. I just got finished ordering my other meds and should be recieving them next week. We found a great program over seas and the meds cost a lot less. Dr. L said that they are just as good. He said it looks like my retrieval will be around the 22nd of this month! This is all so exciting! So far God has really given me a peace about everything, and I'm not a bundle of worries like I usually am. He already knows the outcome...we just have to wait and see what is His plan! Thank you all so much for your prayers.
