6 Months!

Well I've had Roman in my life for 6 months and its been the best 6 months of my life! ‎6 Months ago was the happiest day of my life. 6 weeks prior to that day was the worst day of my life when I found out Kaiya's heart had stopped beating. For those 6 weeks, I continued to carry Roman and Kaiya praying everyday that God would let me meet my Son. His Promise stayed true and He let me meet my Son! "For this is how the Promise was stated. When I return, Sarah shall have e son" Romans 9:9 (and Roman's birthdate)

He grows every single day and each day I notice something different on how he has grown both physically and developmentally. He's 16 lbs and is in the 75% for his weight! He is such an easy baby! He eats 4 bottles a day of 7 oz each and sleeps 10 hours a night! We put him to bed after his last bottle about 8:00 pm and he wakes up at 6:30 every morning for his morning bottle with his Daddy! Then he goes back down til about 9:00! Keeping him on a schedule since he was born has worked wonders! He smiles more every day. He loves to put his weight on his legs to stand up with your help and LOVES looking at himslef in the mirror! He has rolled over from his belly to his back 4 times on his own, but he is not a fan of tummy time!

Dear Roman,
Happy 6 months!! You have made my dreams come true, and I never dreamed of how awesome it is to be your mommy. I may have given you breath, but you gave me life!

Aydia, Elijah, and Emerson all got to hold Roman this last week on his 6 month birthday! Look how big Roman is! You should have seen their faces light up when /i said they could hold him! Aydia recently prayed "thank you God when I get to hold Roman"...i couldn't say no anymore and they were all well and we didnt let them talk in his face, washed hands ect.

My favorite part of the day is when he falls asleep on me after his last bottle. He is such an Angel. I told Dustin to take this picture because I want to remember what he looked like when he did this.

We plan on taking Roman out of the house on Easter. With it being such a special day, I wanted to find the perfect Easter outfit for him. After lots of searching on the internet, I came up with this little ensemble and he makes it really cute! We'll take more pictures on Easter. I went ahead and bought 2 sizes of everything because he may outgrow this come Easter!






He sleeps in his crib now and takes naps in it!



He loves his Grammy!


I took him to Grammy's house for the 1st time last week! He was such a good baby and loved all the new stuff to look at!

His hair gets longer every day! He can now wear a mohawk!




Back in the day when Dustin and I wore pagers/beepers and before we knew each other, both of our codes (so people would know it was you paging them) was 52! This jersey has the number 52 on it. I think that will be Roman's number in sports!

I love putting little caps on him, he looks like a different baby! There's that dimple!

I bought this outfit while I was pregnant and pictured him wearing it to the zoo. Since we can't go to the zoo yet, we can make it like a zoo at home and wear it!




He falls asleep everytime we go on a walk.

I love this shirt. It reads "Faith Baby". He is the definition of a Faith Baby! And it brings out his pretty eyes. They are still a dark blue!

Ok, here is Roman's 1st stuffed animal, a baby ducky! Our neice Emerson calls Dustin uncle "Duckie" and has called baby Roman baby "Duckie" ever since I was pregnant. I found this duckie at Target that reads My First Easter so I bought it. Roman LOVES it! He cries when I take it away! It's so adorably cute!

My "Grandmum" lived in Australia for a few years before I was born and "mum" in Austrailia means mom, so she always wanted us to call her "Grandmum" or "mum" My sister called me the other week, and said you won't believe what just happened, I saw this baby boy with a onsie on that said "I heart Mum"! She asked the mom where she got it and she said it was from Australia. The lady was so nice she gave it to Whitney the next week, after hearing that we call our Grandmother that. So when I took Roman to my mom's house, Grandmum was coming over too, and I suprised her with him wearing this outfit! She loved it :)
