In My Daughters Eyes

I was driving yestersday and heard "In My Daughters Eyes" come on which I've heard before, but it had never spoke to me like it did yesterday. See, my daughter is still with me but in a different, sacred, holy, can't describe it way. Every day I reflect on my life through her eyes. I am who I am because of her. Read these lyrics through Kaiya's heavenly eyes. I changed some of the words on the last paragraph.

When he was a newborn I always said I couldn't wait for the day when he would see things we can't.

I have this picture of where I drew her name on the beach blown up big on a canvas in Romans bathroom. Last night I was giving him a bath and he started pointing at it saying "Kai Kai" (how he says Kaiya), then said "mmmm" which means he wants to kiss so I brought him over to it and he gave it a good long kiss! Yesterday while rocking him he started saying her name and pointing over her crib while laughing hysterically! And the other day we were playing outside and a beautiful butterly landed nearby us, which made me think of her, then it landed on my shoulder!

Not that I need any proof of where Kaiya is...but all of this is definte reassurance and makes my heart smile! I love you with all my heart Kaiya Faith!
