Trip of a Lifetime

I can't tell you how awesome our trip to Florida was!! The pictures don't even do it justice. I wish my younger sister could have came, but she was about to have Baby Grady. We want to go back every year if possible. Roman turned 1 year old on the trip which even made it more special. The song playing was our "theme song" for the trip. We listened to it every day :) I felt Kaiya's prescence so many times on this trip. God displayed some miraculous Kaiya Skies! Florida 2011 really was "Almost Paradise"!

You can see Roman's Heart Shaped birthmark really good in this picture! I believe this is where Kaiya kissed him as she went to be with Jesus :) I love it and kiss it all the time! Perfectly cenetered on his forehead!

Me and my baby! I hardly ever get pictures of me and Roman so I'm so glad we got these! It helps when you have a sister with you who LOVES taking pictures and captures EVERY moment!







I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant on the trip and Whitney took pictures of me holding Roman and sent me the pics saying "Kiki and her babie(s)" At the time this was a smooth pregnancy. I was so happy!!!

Our condo had a HUGE balcony overlooking the ocean and I would take Roman out there every morning to watch the sunrise.

Introducing God's Kaiya Sies from Florida!! The 1st 3 pictures were taken on our dolphin cruise!



Kaiya's name means "diamond in the sky". Whitney ran in from outside on the balcony one night and said "Kacey you have to come look at this star, its so bright!" That's my diamond in the sky!!!

On the day Roman and Kaiya were born September 9th, we woke up and sang Happy Birthday to Roman first! Then Whitney and I went to 3 different supermarkets trying to find pink balloons and roses in honor of Kaiya's birthday. We finally found them! We asked some strangers on the beach to take videos and pictures of us singing Happy Birthday to Roman and Kaiya on the beach. We then released the balloons to Kaiya. I wrote Kaiya's name in the sand. It was all so special and beautiful! I know she was smiling down on us from heaven! What a special day I'll never forget. Kaiya I can't wait for the day when I can hold you kiss your sweet face again! Until then, every time I kiss Roman's heart on his forehead I think of you! When I do this Salvation doesn't seem that far away, and I feel close to you!

It rained the first 3 days we were there. It ended up being perfect because we got to go to the restaurants, visit seaside, and spend some good quality time inside! We went to seaside and got some ice cream!

Roman loves Aydia and Aydia loves him!

Roman is such a daddy's boy. Anytime Dustin is around he has a twinkle in his eye and so does Dustin :)

We went on a dolphin cruise at sunset! It was awesome!!








I LOVE this picture! It almost doesn't even look real or like there is a back drop or something behind us! The seagulls were following the boat and it was during sunset. So cool!

"Ahhhh!" We did get bit a few times from the seagulls!



Roman loves to dance on bars! Don't know if this is a good thing, but he LOVES it!!

I feel so blessed for my family God has given me :)




All week long Aydia was saying she wanted to get her ear pierced. No fear either! We took her to get it done, and they placed a lollipop in her hand and said on the count of 3 to put it in her mouth and then tell them what it tasted like. "1, 2, 3 pierce and she says-stwaberri pronounced just like that in the sweetest shaky voice!"


As we were about to leave you can see how sad we all were.




Whitney started counting the days with Elijah and Aydia until our vacation when it was like 90 days away. So when the vacation finally came they were so excited. When we got to Florida we wrote numers 1 through 7 on slips of paper and each day Aydia and Elijah would take one off the fridge so they would know how many days we had left. They were sad pulling the last one off!
