By His Plan That's Just The Way It Is

He is so Faithful

Many of you know how long it took me to have my sweet miracle boy, and everything we went through. 4 years of treatments, early miscarriages, surgeries, even 3 IUI's with medicine did not work. Knowing all of this Dustin and I had talked about starting to try for a brother or sister for Roman after our trip to Florida next month.

Well, this was "our plan" at least. Through my journey, I should know that "our plans" need to just go out the window, because it is His Plan.

"By His Plan, that's just the way it is."

Dustin and I were NOT trying...last Tuesday I took a pregnancy test because I had been real tired lately (I've taken hundreds of tests before so it was no big deal for me). I had some tests left over. To my shock and amazement I saw a second line!!! It was faint and I kept rubbing my eyes to try to see it more clearly. My heart started beating so hard and fast and I had to catch my breath...speechless...unbelievable...in awe...He is Faithful.

A few minutes later I go sit down and check my email. This picture below was in my inbox from a lady that lives in Hawaii. I've never met her. Her email read I hope this picture brings you peace.

I had to catch my breath again...speechless...unbelievable...in awe...Kaiya was smiling down on me. A suset, a heart, and everything! I immediatly wanted to share it on facebook and make it my profile picture. Friends, not knowing what I just found out, left the nicest comments. I started crying tears of joy...I wanted to scream it from the rooftops to them what God had just revealed! Below is some of the comments they left that day under the picture.

Your testimony and Kaiya's story has had an impact on many lives - many will find Christ through your sweet baby girl and your walk of faith! Praise God for touching so many lives through your witness!!! Really cool that your daughter, who never walked a step on this earth, is traveling around the globe --- Praise God! ♥

Wow, that's pretty amazing! God knew what he was doing when he chose you to be Kaiya's Mom. So glad that you have been able to take this experience and lead others to the grace of our Awesome Father. Keep it going girl!♥

I called my OB and they couldn't believe it! They called in lab work for me to get done. As I'm on hold the song I heard right before learning the news that Kaiya's heart had stopped beating "You've got a Friend" and that I associate with my grandfathers passing, started playing on the line. I got chills. The song right after that was "In My Daughters Eyes". More chills. I get in my car to go get my lab slip and give blood and guess what's playing on Kiss FM ??? "If I Die Young"-the song I associate with Kaiya! I didn't even know they played that song on 106.1! I called Dustin right away and told him what I was experiencing. I then get to the hospital, step in the elevator, and an old man in the elevator hands me a penny. The penny had a punched out hold of a cross in it. He said "This is for your childs piggy bank" (Roman was with me). I get to my OB's office and wait for the nurse to bring me my lab slip. "I'm the whisper in the wind" starts playing ("sunlight in your hair, shadow on the ground"). Could it be any more obvious that Kaiya was with me!?!?

Bloodwork came back a 31...this is fairly low, but they said as long as it doubles that's all they care about. My 2 miscarriages before they believe were due to my low progesterone that I've always had. My progesterone came back good!!! Crazy!

My Bloodwork two days later came back a 65. Still a little low in my book, but the nurse says I just caught it early and since it doubled that's a great sign and she'd see me in 3 weeks to listen to the heartbeat!

We told our families. Talk about people in utter amazement! I went with my little sister on Tuesday to her OB appt. As she was sitting on the table waiting for the Dr., I told her. She cried and was sooooo happy! I told my older sister that night at dinner. She couldn't believe it!!! She said, what day again did you test? On Monday night she said she was taking literally hundreds of pictures of this sunset, because it was so beautiful. She even took a video of it. She sent me these pictures Monday night (the night before I tested) of Kaiya Skies.

The picture below if you look in the top right corner, it looks like a babies face she said!

That night I also got quite a few Kaiya Skies sent to me from other people. Whitney said that while she was filming and taking her pictures she was listening to the song "You are God Alone" over and over in her car. The song is the 1st one on my playlist that is playing or just played. She didn't remember but this was the song that all of the grandchildren (Dustin's side) did sign language to and played at Grandads funeral. She said while she was taking these pictures she was praying really hard that when we started trying, that it would be so easy and no complications and that God would bless us. She knew we were going to start trying in the coming months. Unbelievable!!! When she said this Dustin said..."wait what song were you listening too...?" He said he hadn't listened to that song since Grandads funeral a year and half ago and on Monday while he was in the shower that song popped in his mind, so all day Monday he listened to it over and over again in his car!!

Let's just say last week, was pretty incredible.

The God who gives and takes away...as you've heard before, When God takes something away from you, He is preparing something so much greater for you...Wow!

I hesitated sharing the news not only because its so early, but because I have so many girls close to my heart who are still waiting on their miracle baby. This is when I don't understand God's timing. I have been in that boat, when you hear of the news of "I'm pregnant, and we weren't even trying" It hurts, and it hurts bad. You don't understand, and your faith is shaken. All I know is God's Plan is perfect and, to you girls out there (you know who you are) God's promise is coming...it's only a rainbow away.

I decided to go ahead and share the news for a few reasons: to show God's Grace and Glory, to ask for your prayers for this baby-I trust Him whatever happens with my pregnancy is His plan, and to give you girls a sense of HOPE. You know everything I endured, and look How Great God Is? In His Plan, and His timing His promise will come. He knows the desires of your heart.I pray with my whole heart and sould that you will be blessed soon. Know that you are on my heart and mind every day and in my prayers all the time. If I have any advice to give, it would be share your journey and what you go through with others. You are going through it for a purpose and you can bring so many others to know God. I am here for you. I pray this news does not bring any sadness to your heart, but only Hope.

You are not a God
Created by human hands
You are not a God
Dependant on any mortal man
You are not a God
In need of anything we can give
By Your plan, that's just the way it is

If you recall when I found out I was pregnant with the twins, I shared my testimony at church. We then sang "How Great is Our God". The verse I sang read "Age to age He stands, And time is in His hands,Beginning and the end,Beginning and the end" I heard this song a couple of weeks ago (didn't know I was pregnant) when I was driving in the car and there was a beautiful sunset. It brought me back to that morning when we sang it and little did I know how much impact my verse would have on my story. At the time it was relating to the Beginning and the End of Grandfather's life and my new pregnancy. When I heard it in the car, the tears came as I thought of how it related to the beginning and ending of Kaiya's life. Little did I know God had already started a new life in my belly. Amazing. I posted the clip from a year and a half ago below. When you listen to it you need to mute the music at the bottom of the blog so you can hear it. Please Praise the one who took away and gave! When God takes something from your grasp. He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where His grace will not protect you.

Roman is so surprised too!!!!

I am 5 weeks pregnant today, I ask for your prayers please! May God Bless You!!!
