March of Dimes 2011 "An Angel kind of day"
Saturday was a PERFECT day! We had 39 people show up in support of Team Kaiya. I woke up at 4:00 am and was so excited I coulnd't go back to sleep! I got up dressed Roman in his Team Kaiya t-shirt and he was all smiles ready to march for his sister! The shirts turned out beautiful! My cousin Amber bought all us girls a pink heart rhinestone necklace with rhinestone earrings. I love it!! I was fighting back tears that morning, but once arriving in the parking lot and seeing everyone who showed up, I was so happy and couldn't quit smiling! When we pulled up in the parking lot (keep in mind there are about 4,000 people at this event) oddly enough we pulled in right when both of our families pulled in! Talk about crazy timing! Team Kaiya raised $1,730.00!!!! We want to do this every year in honor of Kaiya. The day couldn't have been more beautiful. At the end of the race there was a "Wall of Hope" where they displayed pictures of Roman and Kaiya. Beautiful day for a Beautiful Angel :)

You can see the Spirit of God glowing in every picture. Loss breaks many people, yet, you and your family have turned your loss into a positive witness of what the power of the Lord can do. Instead of mourning, you praise and thank the Lord for the gift of Kaiya and reach out to help others. Team Kaiya will move mountains for the March of Dimes. God sent this angel to help other babies survive. Yeah - team Kaiya!
