Don't Worry....Be Happy!

My baby boy is 4 1/2 months (really just like a 2 month old)! I can't believe how fast its going by. We had his 4 month apptointment last week and he's in the 75th% weight and 50% head and 50% length. He weighs 13 1/2 pounds and is doing great! The Dr. said he is looking and acting more like a 3 month old, so he's right in between! He got his 1st two shots on Friday and it was the saddest thing ever! He cried so hard he could'nt breathe! I couldn't even watch...I had Dustin hold him. As soon as they were done poking both thighs I picked him up and held him close and he tilted his head back with swollen eyes and just stared at me...like "did you really just let that happen?" After staring into my eyes for a few seconds his little head gave out and he let it fall on my chest. It was horrible! I am going to dread his future shots. Besides when getting shots he is such a happy baby as you can see in the pictures below.

He loves tummy time and is holding his head up really good now.

He was kinda chuckling in these pictures. Lucky for me, he thinks my flash on my camera is funny!

He makes gooo and gaaa sounds too! I think somehting that starts with a "G" will be his first word!

Dustin was having his date night with Roman this night and sent me this picture. Dustin says he loves his date nights at home with his Son! Thats lucky for me too! Roman thinks his Daddy's funny!

Below are the "Kaiya Skies" friends have sent to me over the last couple of weeks. This 1st one was sent to me by Randi Hudgins. It means the world to me when people do this. I'm not the only one that thinks of Kaiya when looking at the sky!

My sweet friend Erika sent me this one. She said Kaiya's life brought her a lot closer to God :)

My Momma sent me this one. She recently just learned how to text so it meant alot that she figured out how to send this picture to me via text :) She also recently put flowers on Kaiya's grave. I still have not been to her grave since the burial. I'm not sure whats holding me back. I will go soon. For now, I just like to see her "in the sky". I want to take Roman out there when I go and take another picture with him by the "praying hands". The last picture I took with the hands was when I was 12 weeks pregnant with the twins.

Dustin sent me this when he went to Houston last week.

Sally Burrows sent me the picture above. I have never even met her in person. She's so sweet!
Laura Schneider sent me the picture below. I went to highschool with her (10 years ago) and haven't seen her since. It meant so much to me that she sent this picture to me. What's crazy is I run into her a few days later at a baby clothing store boutique!

This week was my nepew Elijah and my niece Emerson's 5th birthday! They were born 1 week apart from each other. I can't believe they are 5 now! We had 2 birthday parties to go to this weekend. ! The picture above was better of Emerson and the picture below was better of Elijah. They are buds!

We had a bunch of fun visitors these last 2 weeks! Aunt Whit came by today, but Roman was fussy because he was working on a big poop! Look at his worried little face :)

Krystal came by. She has a little baby boy who is 1 month age difference from Roman. They will be good buds!

My best friend Lana surprised me on Saturday. She lives in Colorado and Ryder's actual due date was 1 week apart from Roman's due date! They have never met and we didn't think they would be able to until the summer. She called me on Saturday and said she was just taking it easy in Colorado and her husband had left for 10 days etc...Next think I know my doorbell rand and it was her with Ryder and her little girl Maya! I was SHOCKED! SHE MADE MY DAY! yOU CAN SEE BELOW HOW rOMAN LOOKS BIGGER THAN rYDER (HENCE HIM BEING MORE ON TRACK FOR LIKE A 3 MONTH OLD).

Maya is so beautiful!Ryder slept the whole time. Roman was happy to see him! He's never been around another baby. We had to make an exception.

My friend who used to be my partner at my job Robyn stopped by this night, but I didn't get a picture of her. I wish I did, because she looked AWESOME!

Jessica finally got to meet Roman too! We've been friends for years, but we also used to work together too!

Roman loves to do this with his hand...almost like he's saying "I've had enough!"

My good friend Gina stopped by too! She's having a baby boy in February!

Aunt Hay Hay babysat him, and Grammy and Nana, and Granny and Papa, my friend Jennifer, and Boppy all stopped by this week too! He's very popular! :)

Snuggle time:It's the BEST part of my day!!

I took these right before I woke him up. He's sleeping 7-8 hours straight! That's my boy!

He is so alert now! He loves to watch cartoons, and really watch anything that moves! He has really good eye contact!

He has found his fingers everyone! And he loves to suck on them! He does it through the night too!

He has started spitting bubbles too!

He sticks out his tongue at me from time to time!

Ok, I got these aviator sunglasses at Build a Bear when Roman was in the NICU. They finally fit him...and Charli too!

Charli still thinks whatever is Roman's is his. He crawled up on Romans incline chair the other night.

He's like "I'm not doing anything wrong!"
