I can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head sayin,
You'll never reach it,
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
The struggles I'm facing,
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes they knock me down but
No I'm not breaking
The pain I'm knowing
But these are the moments that
I'm going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on,
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It's all about
It's all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith

I love this song. It reminds me of our struggle too. I tear up everytime I hear it!!
ReplyDeleteI can hear you sing that beautiful song! There is always a mountain! Everyone has their own ahead of them...ours is the Mountain of Debt... :) Mountains help us to have the Need for Faith, the need to Trust, and the lessons we learn during the climb! I love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm a friend of Whit's. Reading your timeline makes me cry. I'm so sorry. I am confident that God is working and I know you are, too. It is just so, so, so hard to to wait on His plan.
ReplyDeleteMy sister went through infertility for years and years. She ended up adopting two kids (which, of course, are such blessings and so part of the plan). Then, she got pregnant (by God's grace) and had her 3rd and two years later had her 4th. Looking back, God's hand was perfectly working but we sure couldn't see at the time.
I'm praying for you and looking forward to watching the plan unfold. Rich blessings upon you...
"Keep the Faith" Don Baby use to always say, so keep climbing and don't look down, just up!
